Aviation Stores Coordinator

Job Summary:
Aeropeople Ltd is seeking an experienced Aviation Stores Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Stores team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing parts and aircraft components.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming goods in line with Company standards and operating procedures
- Visually inspect all incoming goods and materials for physical damage and appropriate documentation
- Accept aircraft components and materials in accordance with internal IT system requirements
- Log all incoming goods and aircraft components on the internal IT systems
- Ensure rejected goods and parts are quarantined and labelled, and that the Team Leader is informed about the discrepant condition
- Meet all Customs procedures and processes to comply with UK and Global Legislation
- Ensure that all material certificates are properly filed and materials are properly stored
- Issue approved parts, materials, special tooling to the Workshop Technicians
- Ensure that all outgoing aircraft components are packed for distribution in the agreed packing boxes and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory using computerised systems
- Ensure that material is removed from store before it's due to expire
- Adheres to all Company standard operating procedures
- Adheres to all health and safety procedures
- Meets Stores quality and housekeeping standards
Requirements:
- Stores experience in the Aviation Sector or previous bonded warehouse experience
- IT literate with the ability to use Word and Excel and a willingness to learn an industry software package
- A team player, willing to learn, disciplined, with an eye for detail and a self-starter
- A current forklift licence will be an advantage but not essential
- Experience in despatch procedures would also be advantageous but not essential
