Sessional Lecturer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sessional Lecturer to join our team at Hammersmith & Fulham Council. As a Sessional Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver courses in a range of subjects, including Digital/IT, Sustainability/Green Skills, ESOL & Functional Skills English and Maths, Family Learning, Food Studies, and Visual and Performing Arts.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of our students.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluations.
- Contribute to the development of our teaching and learning strategies, ensuring they are inclusive and effective.
- A level 3 teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and deadlines.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and practices, with experience of teaching and learning in a community setting.
- Ability to use technology to support teaching and learning, with experience of using digital tools and platforms.
