Senior Auditor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Audit Team at East Suffolk Council. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in preparing and undertaking audits, and assisting in the delivery of good governance across our Internal Audit Services partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and undertake audits to ensure the effective delivery of our Internal Audit Services.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk-based auditing strategies.
- Collaborate with our Audit Team to deliver high-quality audit services.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to our stakeholders on audit-related matters.
Requirements:
- 3 years of proven relevant experience in public sector auditing or a related field.
- Proven experience of working within a risk-based auditing environment.
- Good understanding of risk management principles and practices.
