Job Overview

We're currently looking for a Production Startup Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for leading the start-up phase of a new process and wrapping line, ensuring smooth operations and successful implementation.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Delivery of Vertical Start Up (VSU) for new production facility.
  2. Lead for manufacturing readiness for the project.
  3. Deliver Commissioning, Qualification and Verification within a food manufacturing environment using Intersnack Work Systems and the Initiative Management Pillar.
  4. Deliver project criteria through to close out at Verification stage.
  5. Provide coaching and support to the operations team involved in the project.
  6. Define and deploy a Technology Transfer and Training plan.
  7. Present to all levels on project updates and reviews.
  8. Responsibility for pre-production budget and cost tracking up to close out.
  9. Coordinate plant level risk mitigation plan with external partners, engineering, and operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in food manufacturing/production environment and/or FMCG.
  • Experience in a Project Team.
  • Operational Management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of Project management tools.
  • Cost Centre Management, Budgeting, and Forecasting experience.
  • Understanding of Food Safety Legislation.
  • Experience working with Quality Management Systems.
