Job Overview

The Nicholls and Clarke Group, a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of fine-quality sanitaryware, ceramic and porcelain tiles, is seeking a skilled Area Sales Executive to join their team. This exciting opportunity requires the ideal candidate to possess precise experience within the Builders materials industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with potential customers to promote and sell products or services.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  3. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
  4. Utilise IT systems to manage customer accounts and track sales progress.
  5. Attend sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
  6. Drive to meet clients in person when required.

Requirements:

  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and close deals successfully.
  • Proficient in IT systems for managing customer accounts and tracking sales data.
  • Organisational skills to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
