Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Specialist Lead to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Data Privacy Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for advising on global privacy laws, developing innovative new products and services, and driving strategy and providing guidance to the team on complex privacy issues.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop governance frameworks and processes to comply with global privacy laws.
  2. Work with lawyers and business leaders throughout the organization to prepare for and comply with new or evolving privacy laws and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that prioritize customer data protection.
About the Role:

This role requires exceptional expertise and experience in Data and Privacy matters or related regulatory matters, as well as significant post-qualification legal experience gathered in-house or in private practice, with a minimum of 10+ years of legal experience. You should have a strong understanding of internet services and applications and related technologies, as well as experience advising on privacy legal issues related to cloud computing services. The salary range for this position is estimated to be around £120,000 - £180,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
