Job Overview

This leading international retailer seeks a seasoned data privacy lawyer to lead on data protection, AI, and cybersecurity matters for its UK business. The successful candidate will provide wide-ranging legal support and advice to its group of high street brands.

About the Opportunity

  • Liaise with the European data privacy team to ensure best practice across the brands globally.
  • Take the lead on data protection matters and develop expertise in AI and cybersecurity.
  • Work on related regulatory and compliance matters, developing strong relationships with the business.

About You

This role requires a data privacy lawyer with experience implementing data protection policies and training the business. The ideal candidate will have in-house experience and a collaborative mindset, able to navigate a complex international business while keeping customers at the centre.

With a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, this data privacy specialist will play a key role in shaping the company's data governance strategy and contributing to its vision and goals.

An estimated salary for this position is around £80,000-£100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
