We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Maternity and Neonatal Transformation Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families and contribute to the delivery of high-quality maternity and neonatal services.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a conduit linking the thoughts and feelings of service users to staff across the ICB, ensuring that their voices are heard and valued.
- Deliver the agreed objectives of the MNVP, using influence to drive the delivery of highly effective and visible outcomes.
- Represent the MNVP at local, regional, and national maternity and neonatal meetings and events, providing independent challenge and scrutiny based on evidence gathered from parents/carers and professionals.
- Assist professionals in identifying and engaging with pregnant women/service users, parents, and their families at every level of change, enabling authentic co-production.
- Support the LMNS and their Trust in planning and managing their workstream of programmes, taking the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.
- Recent or current service user experience in maternity and/or neonatal services within the last two years or a post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent.
- Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
- Demonstrated experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments, including working with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and organisations to influence, plan, and implement a programme of transformation and quality improvement work.
- Experience of managing risks and reporting, prioritising workloads, and meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of the public sector and experience of national, regional, and local drivers for transformation and quality improvements across maternity and neonatal services.
