Leeds Building Services (LBS) is responsible for construction, repairs, and maintenance throughout the Council. This service includes Responsive Repairs, Maintenance, and Planned Works for various Council properties and assets, such as educational institutions, offices, and recreational facilities.

Role Overview:

As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing strategic improvement initiatives aimed at delivering efficient and value-oriented services.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for service enhancement.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and maintain auditing practices to mitigate risks and uphold standards.
  • Supervise team members while complying with Council policies and maintaining essential documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments for all operational activities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health.
  • Desirable: Asbestos-related qualifications.
  • Full driving license required.

Essential Requirements: Proven leadership and coordination skills in resource management, cultural transformation, and health and safety documentation.
