About the Role
Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pastoral Mentor to join our team at one of our Independent Schools in Boston, Lincolnshire. As a Pastoral Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement intervention lessons to support students in need
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to regulate their behavior and build strong relationships with their peers
- Lead small groups and one-to-one sessions outside the classroom to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide additional support within the classroom
Requirements
- Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
- Be passionate about working with students and making a positive impact on their lives
- Be enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable, with strong communication skills
- Be reflective and creative in your approach to teaching and learning
- Be able to build strong working relationships with students with varying needs
