We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Leader to join our Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of buyers and vendor managers in the Amazon Fresh business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop and guide a team of buyers and vendor managers to achieve exceptional results in vendor management, category profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level vendors, negotiate contracts, and drive profitable growth through creative solutions.
  • Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies to improve the customer experience, optimize pricing, selection, and convenience.
  • Analysis and Insights: Turn data into strategic insights, present findings in a compelling manner, and drive action to improve business outcomes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and simplify manual processes, improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Business Ownership: Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
  • Strategic Direction: Set goals and strategic direction for vendors and initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Business Improvement: Generate and implement big ideas to drive business improvement, innovation, and scale within categories.
  • Negotiations and Representation: Drive negotiations and represent Amazon in meetings with senior leaders.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor and industry developments, seasonality, and global trends to inform business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, merchandising, and in-stock teams to ensure flawless execution and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion or inventory management.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
