Make a Difference in Adult Learning as a Functional Skills Tutor

Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Functional Skills Tutor to join our team, working with adult learners in a prison setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in English and Maths up to Level 2, identifying individual learning needs and creating comprehensive lesson plans.

The role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics
  • A Degree or professional qualification relevant to the work
  • Teaching Qualification
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification or willingness to gain within two years of service
