Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with internal departments and external service providers to ensure quality design and feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.
  • Successfully communicate and work with key internal departments and external service providers to ensure quality design and feasibility.
  • Follow and police company, departmental, and quality policies.
  • Approve concept and detail CAD designs and drawings.
  • Attend and input into engineering reviews and discussions.
  • Promote and actively gain knowledge in new fields of engineering and technology.
  • Share and communicate technical knowledge, including creating and maintaining engineering design guidelines.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support supplier development and product testing.

Requirements:

  • Understand engineering fundamentals in the design and development of components and assemblies.
  • Risk identification and mitigation.
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree with a grade of 2:1 or above.
  • Practical hands-on engineering and mechanical experience.
  • An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics.
  • A minimum of 6 years automotive design engineering background (ideally motorcycle).
