As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading the design and development of our products, working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure quality and feasibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and development of quality components and systems
  • Communicating and working with key internal departments and external service providers
  • Following and policing company, departmental, and quality policies
  • Approving concept and detail CAD designs and drawings
  • Attending and inputting into engineering reviews and discussions
  • Promoting and gaining knowledge in new fields of engineering and technology
  • Sharing and communicating technical knowledge, including creating and maintaining engineering design guidelines

Requirements:

  • Understand engineering fundamentals in the design and development of components and assemblies
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree with a grade of 2:1 or above
  • Practical hands-on engineering and mechanical experience
  • An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics
  • A minimum of 6 years automotive design engineering background (ideally motorcycle)
