We are working with a leading market supplier company based in Coalville who are recruiting for an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic. The successful candidate will be part of their award-winning Municipal team.

About the Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client's fleet is running at optimal levels by carrying out routine maintenance and repairs. If you have experience as an HGV Mechanic and want to join a reputable company with opportunities for career progression, then this could be the perfect role for you.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus benefits such as a van and excellent ongoing training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance on HGVs to ensure they are roadworthy and efficient.
  • Repair and replace parts as necessary to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Work closely with the Operations Team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes where possible.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience as an HGV Mechanic and hold a valid license to work on heavy goods vehicles. A background in mechanical engineering would also be beneficial. As well as technical skills, strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
