About the Role

We are an international leader in the manufacture and distribution of small domestic products and appliances, seeking a highly skilled Product Test Technician to join our Quality Assurance Team. This is a process-driven role that requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

As a Product Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing products, assessing their function, performance, and build quality within a Laboratory environment. You will also be required to assess returned products and establish the reason for failure while familiarizing yourself with UK & EU standards and legislation.

Responsibilities:

  • Test products, assessing their function, performance, and build quality
  • Assess returned products and establish the reason for failure
  • Contribute towards the development of successful products through test reports, design input, and root cause analysis

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a test facility or hands-on experience completing the QA testing procedure
  • Hands on mechanical and/or electrical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised and structured with a drive for a clean, orderly, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Computer literate with good abilities with MS Excel & Word
  • Enthusiastic with a 'can do' outlook
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Able to work as part of a team or own initiative as required, and work with minimal supervision

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
