We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team of experienced educators at Pro Education - Dorchester. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare to children during their time at the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise children during playtime and engage them in learning and play activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the nursery's policies and procedures.
- Level 3 - Diploma for Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience working and playing with children.
- Proactive and motivated approach, with strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Professionalism and ability to work well in a team, with effective communication and active listening skills.
- Knowledge of children's stories and nursery rhymes, with flexibility and understanding.
- Positive and cheerful demeanour, with the ability to manage stress and remain calm.
- Initiative and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
