An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property and Building Safety Specialist to join one of the UK's largest house builders.

About Our Client

This company is a major player in the property industry, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality housing solutions.

The role will involve supporting the business in relation to its construction activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting the business in relation to its construction activities.
  2. Drafting and negotiating contracts related to cladding projects.
  3. Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with cladding remediation.
  4. Liaising with internal teams, external contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
  5. Providing construction and building safety legal advice and support.
Requirements
  • A qualification in law.
  • A background in property or construction law - contentious or non-contentious.
  • Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage litigation cases.
  • Good understanding of building safety laws and regulations.
  • Ability to develop and implement legal strategies.
Salary and Benefits
