About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of Plant and Material Handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of new and used equipment to identify potential issues
  • Perform routine service on equipment, including forklifts, diggers, telehandlers, tractors, and ride-on mowers
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues with equipment
  • Complete job cards and documentation, including machine details, time, and mileage
Requirements
  • Recent experience in a similar role, such as Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to operate diagnostic software
  • NVQ in Plant Engineering, Land Based Engineering, or Heavy Goods is highly desirable
