About the Role

Rushlift Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of materials handling equipment to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders, and reach trucks
  • Use our market-leading Fleet Management System to complete parts orders, job sheets, and warranty work
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our business customers
  • Book all Planned Maintenance with customers
  • Agree workload with Field Service Team Leader, prioritizing tasks as follows:
    • SG Fleet
    • Chargeable Services
    • Key Accounts (National Accounts, Regional Major Accounts)
    • Support Patch Engineers
  • Ensure all chargeable services are completed each month
  • Ensure all fleet servicing is completed by the end of the month
  • Establish daily communication with Operations Controller to cover:
    • Service completion
    • Estimate requests
    • Damage requests
    • Clearing out WIP
  • Conduct lifting equipment examinations, as required, and liaise with Field Service Team Leader
  • Conduct PAT testing, as required, and liaise with Field Service Team Leader
Requirements
  • Experience in servicing, repairing, or maintaining materials handling equipment, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or powered access equipment (MEWP), or Forklift trucks
  • Knowledge of automotive, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Relevant technical qualifications advantageous
