Amazon Operations Manager

As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the smooth operation of our Fulfilment Centres. Your primary focus will be on creating a culture of safety and wellbeing, analysing and implementing changes to maintain high quality and productivity, and overseeing projects to streamline processes and improve customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Culture of Safety and Wellbeing: Create and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing within your team, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Analyse and Improve Quality and Productivity: Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity.
- Oversee Process Improvements: Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity, and improve customer service within your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with Management: Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices and improve operational excellence.
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our Fulfilment Centres, making sure it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be on owning and driving a culture of safety, upholding quality and shift performance standards, and overseeing process improvements within your area. You will also be a role model and mentor to new managers.
About the TeamCustomer Fulfilment is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a sophisticated global team that is always looking for ways to offer a bigger, better product range - delivered quickly and affordably. We are based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at the heart of Amazon's fast-paced Operations network.
Requirements- Bachelor Degree: A bachelor's degree is required for this role.
- People Management Experience: Relevant experience in people management is essential.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions is required.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language is necessary.
