Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to our consultancy clients while enjoying a supportive, ambitious, and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on a range of construction projects and supervise the work of assistants and apprentices in your team.
  • Act as the principal point of contact with project clients and other consultants on the design team.
  • Work independently and take responsibility for the successful delivery of QS/PM/EA services on all projects.
  • Act as a Quantity Surveyor on traditional projects or Employer's Agent on Design and Build projects.
  • Follow the company Quality Management System in the delivery of all services.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop excellent time management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in running own projects quantity surveying and/or project management for a Private Practice, Construction Company, or related organization.
  • Proficiency in measurement, ideally using CostX Measurement Software.
  • Experience in running projects independently.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Driving license and own car. Willingness to travel to sites across the UK as required.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or a related field.
