As a Senior Data Protection Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our data privacy legal activities are conducted in compliance with laws and regulations. This will involve developing best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance, providing legal advice and support, and representing the bank in legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective data protection compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Providing expert legal advice on data privacy matters to business units across the bank
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment on data protection compliance
  • Representing the bank in legal proceedings related to data protection

Requirements

  • A qualified lawyer with significant experience in data protection law
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing data protection compliance programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Information

The salary range for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
