About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Specialist Residential Support Service at M&D Care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment, providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the staff team in providing person-centered care and support, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of the individuals we support, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the company's values and objectives.
Requirements
- QCF Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related field.
- Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
- Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they impact employees and service users.
