Risk Model Analyst

We're a bank that's built on co-operative values, and we're looking for a talented Senior Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Risk Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our bank complies with Model Risk internal governance requirements and that all new models and model changes are independently reviewed.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with our Model Validation team to develop and maintain our risk models. You'll be responsible for analyzing and discussing monitoring and other reports to support decision-making regarding model risks across the bank. You'll also advise our model users on model risk-related issues and support the independent model validation manager in the production of key documents for relevant committees across the bank.

- Develop and maintain our risk models
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a minimum of basic SAS programming and coding abilities, as well as a desire to develop under a strong experienced Model Validation team. You'll also need to be proficient in the use of SAS statistical software and have knowledge of complex Excel functions. Experience of developing or validating retail or corporate credit risk models is required, and experience of IFRS9 modelling or models used for Concentration Risk/Operational Risk/Finance/Liquidity Management is an advantage.
