Job Description

As a Live-In Care Professional at the Farmhouse, you will provide one-to-one relationship-led care to a client with mixed dementia. The client lives in a beautiful bungalow on a family-run farm in the heart of the Kent countryside.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
  • Support the client in maintaining their independence and engaging in activities they enjoy, such as walking around the farm and tending to the garden.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.
  • Assist with meal preparation and household chores.
  • Monitor the client's health and well-being and report any concerns to the client's family or healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with people with dementia is advantageous.
  • Driving license and own vehicle would be advantageous due to the rural location.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the client's privacy.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Double time on bank holidays.
  • 10hr average hours contract with 2hr break per day.
  • 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
  • Travel expenses to client address.
  • Food will be supplied by client.
