We are seeking a motivated and inspirational Band 6 Midwife to join our maternity team within our community. The successful candidate will provide personalized care to women throughout their antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal journey.
Main Duties- Assess, diagnose, and provide professional clinical midwifery care to normal healthy women during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages without referral to a medical practitioner.
- Ensure referral to the appropriate health professional when deviations from the normal occur and work in partnership with that health professional to ensure safe standards of care.
- Participate in the on-call rota/night duty for community when community-based.

Person Specification- Nursing or Midwifery degree or equivalent.
- Registered Midwife.
- ENB 997/8 or equivalent or to achieve within 1 year.
- Experience as a qualified midwife and all clinical competencies achieved.
- Clinical experience in a busy NHS hospital (or equivalent).
- Experience of working with technologies commonly used in the NHS (or equivalent).
