About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at AES, a leading European company with over 50 years of experience in the sales and application development of thermoplastic polymers and elastomers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on polymer technology, including design of parts and moulds, polymer selection, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that AES remains at the forefront of polymer technology.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (or similar) or be a Time Served Engineer with relevant experience.
  • Experience in Injection Moulding / Plastics Processing / Polymer or Rubber is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of technical software and tools to deliver support with part design/performance and processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges.
