The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Verification Consultant to join our team. As a Verification Consultant, you will play a critical role in our Escrow Verification Services, confirming the completeness and usability of deposited code as stipulated in the escrow agreement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to perform Verification services on behalf of our Clients.
  • Perform audits of the rebuild process required to recreate software or systems being placed into escrow.
  • Ensure the safe and secure handling of escrow deposits in line with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure software/system under verification is audited in line with the requirements of the specific service-line being performed.
  • Liaise with ISVs, Licensees, and NCC Group colleagues to address obstacles during the verification process.
  • Liaise with the Verification Delivery and Scheduling Management Team regarding planning, execution, and documentation of Verification exercises.
  • Support the Account Management Team in developing relationships with Clients and ISVs.
  • Produce accurate and clear Verification Test Reports, documenting steps taken in a given Verification exercise.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies, languages, and associated tools.
  • Knowledge and experience working with common, modern operating systems.
  • Understanding of virtualisation/containers.
  • Understanding and awareness of alternative public-cloud providers.
  • Experience providing pre-sales technical support to assist in the sales cycle.
  • Able to present information confidently to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with report production/writing and great attention to detail.
  • Confidence, articulation, and ability to represent and promote NCC Group and its core values.
