Job Description

Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency is seeking an experienced Project Management Lead to join our team.

As a Project Management Lead, you will be responsible for effectively delivering and sustaining projects and services, ensuring they meet the needs of residents/beneficiaries through an asset-based community development approach.

Key responsibilities include managing and developing Healthwatch as a local independent consumer champion for health and social care services, supporting and sustaining the Healthwatch Board, and overseeing robust research and intelligence systems.

A competitive salary of £32,713 per annum (pro rata) is offered, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure projects meet the needs of residents/beneficiaries.
  • Manage and develop Healthwatch to provide a focus for the voices of citizens.
  • Support and sustain the Healthwatch Board, including recruitment, induction, and training.
  • Oversee robust research and intelligence systems to enable effective and constructive challenge of how health and social care services are commissioned and provided.
  • Successfully manage project staff and resources allocated to project delivery.
