Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients, including complex limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare corporation tax computations and returns, as well as deferred tax calculations and VAT returns preparations.
  • Use a variety of accounting software, including CCH, as used by the client.
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients and be a direct point of contact, managing all queries.
Requirements
  • Previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment, for Partner review.
  • AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification or part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
  • Experience using a variety of accounting software and a strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, good attention to detail, and organisation skills.
  • Ability to review the work of junior staff and provide training to junior staff.
