p>At Network Plus Services, we are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in driving efficiencies, managing costs, and delivering desired margin returns for our clients. p>Key Responsibilities/p>

We are looking for someone to:

  1. Manage and monitor project costs, including weekly P&L reporting, to ensure accurate financial tracking and forecasting.
  2. Review contract documents and advise on any issues, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and industry standards.
  3. Track progress and cash flow forecast information to inform commercial decisions and optimize project outcomes.
  4. Produce and review commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs), and Project Finance Reports to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  5. Take responsibility for Subcontract Management, including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders, and Negotiating Subcontract terms to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  6. Prepare subcontract documents, enquiries, and assessment of quotations to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  7. Place subcontract orders, agree and certify subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments, and final account agreements to ensure smooth project execution.
  8. Manage and track project changes, variations, and/or notices to minimize disruptions and optimize project outcomes.
  9. Assess and value variations and compensation events to ensure accurate financial tracking and forecasting.
  10. Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  11. Attend risk review, progress, and commercial meetings on-site with the Client to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  12. Be actively involved with tenders and pricing to ensure competitive and profitable project outcomes.
  13. Assist Credit Control with cash recovery and forecasting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  14. Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects to ensure seamless project execution.

Experience and Qualifications/p>

We are looking for someone with:

  1. A degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) and/or relevant industry experience.
  2. Experience working in the Utilities industry, with a strong understanding of NEC contracts and industry standards.
  3. Sound knowledge of contracts NEC and ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under tight time pressures.
  4. High attention to detail and logical mind to ensure accurate financial tracking and forecasting.
