The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to our pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to students, helping them to develop their academic skills and confidence.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas where additional support is needed.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting.
  • Experience of contributing to the development, monitoring, and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
