Job Description:

As a Distributed Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software systems that enable machine learning (ML) engineers to create innovative AI features. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and reliable systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement distributed systems that empower ML engineers to create innovative AI features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and reliable systems that meet customer needs
  • Ensure seamless integration with other Apple services and products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed systems
  • Proficient in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python) and one system programming language (e.g., Go, C/C++)
  • Solid understanding of container and virtualization technologies, Kubernetes
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)

Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per year.
