Key Responsibilities

The Broker Finance role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the Finance team at Verastar Limited.

  • Reconcile customer payments against the company's internal system on a daily basis.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of customer and insurer accounts against the company's internal system.
  • Ensure all Direct Debit funding is allocated and reconciled on the Direct Debit facility.
  • Set up loans where required, process amendments, and ensure all amounts and payments reconcile.
  • Send statements and chase outstanding policies for reconciliation.
  • Send weekly statements to customers and chase up outstanding debt.
  • Assist with recording and reconciliation of client monies.
  • Resolve any accounts queries that arise from insurer statements and daily payments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing workloads and prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Industry experience within finance or insurance, preferred but not essential.
