About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Education team at Kingsbrook School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students with their work and behaviour, while establishing positive relationships with pupils and responding to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with their work and provide individual support as needed
  • Support with pupil behaviour and establish good relationships with students
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities
  • Respond to individual needs and provide emotional support as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with complex needs is desirable
  • Good understanding of emotional and attachment needs of children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
