About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Education team at Kingsbrook School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including mental health disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with their work and support with pupil behaviour
  • Establish good relationships with pupils and act as a role model
  • Respond to individual needs and adapt practice wherever necessary
  • Work alongside the class teacher to provide a supportive learning environment

About Kingsbrook School:

Kingsbrook School is a small specialist independent school for 11-18 year-old students with social, emotional, mental health difficulties and complex learning needs. Our school is a unique setting within a small holding, and we have a love of animals as an intrinsic part of the role. You will work with our animals as part of our therapy programme for the young people in our care.
