Job Title: Barber

Cedar Care Homes Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Barber to join our team. As a Barber, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and happiness of our Residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming residents and ensuring their comfort.
  • Advising on suitable cuts.
  • Recommending hair products.
  • Performing hair services including washing, cutting and styling.
  • Providing Hot Towel shaves.
  • Maintaining salon cleanliness and equipment sanitation.
  • Working with various hairdressing tools and products.
  • Managing inventory and logging treatments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Barber, with expertise in cuts and Shaving.
  • Compassionate demeanor, with an interest in supporting individuals living in aged care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work part time and travel between locations.
  • Experience in mobile barbering or care home environment.
