About the Role:

Cedar Care Homes Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the care team and senior management in promoting a strong and nurturing family environment, where care is based on building respectful relationships amongst residents and staff.

You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with NMC and CQC registration requirements, including the submission of notifications and other conditions of registration. Your key performance indicators will include delivering high-quality care and services, maintaining positive working relationships with key organizations, and ensuring care is delivered safely to protect residents from abuse and avoidable harm.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and services while maintaining a nurturing, open, fair, and transparent culture
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key organizations through open communication and mutual trust
  • Work in a responsive way to ensure residents have maximum choice and control over their lives and health and social needs
  • Ensure care is delivered safely to protect residents from abuse and avoidable harm
  • Assist with the management of clinical and care provisions effectively to achieve good outcomes and promote a good quality of life
  • Maintain a caring culture to motivate staff to treat residents with compassion, kindness, dignity, and respect at all times


Requirements:

We are looking for experience in elderly care, dementia care, and taking charge of a shift. Although we welcome newly registered nurses, post-registration experience is preferred. You will receive free Cedar Care induction training, refresher training, and opportunities for career progression.
