Job Description: Paediatric Endoscopy Theatre Support Staff

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated theatre support staff member to join our paediatric endoscopy team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of endoscopic procedures for children.

Main responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality support to the surgical team during endoscopic procedures.
  • To maintain a clean and safe environment in the theatre.
  • To assist with the preparation and setup of equipment and instruments.
  • To contribute to the effective communication and teamwork within the theatre environment.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in theatre support or a related field.
  • Experience of working in a theatre environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), a generous pension scheme, and opportunities for learning and development.
