About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing medicines management services to patients in HMP Exeter.

Main Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide medicines optimisation services to the prison">
  • Administer medicines to offenders on a 7-day rota">
  • Reconcile medicines for prisoners admitted to the prison">
  • Supervise assistants in the dispensary">
  • Conduct final dispensing checks or medicines optimisation qualification">
  • Maintain high standards of work and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)">

Job Requirements

  • ">
  • 2 years' experience of working in a pharmacy">
  • Registration with the GPhC as a pharmacy technician">
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)">
  • Good knowledge of working within a set of SOPs">
  • Ability to use computer packages, including Pharmacy Manager/JAC and Microsoft">

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities.
