The position of High-Performance CPU Designer is ideal for an innovative and skilled professional who wants to break through bottlenecks in CPU performance using models, emulators and real devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and propose new technologies or investigations to improve CPU products and understanding.
  • Develop our understanding of the competitive landscape and identify key missing technologies at Arm, particularly for future solutions like Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies for our CPUs with the CPU experts within Arm.
  • Communicate technical results with the Arm business teams.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or another relevant field.
  • A passion to innovate, think differently and explore new avenues.
  • Experience developing software and/or hardware, particularly C/C++ and Arm assembly.
  • Confident developing in Linux environments with experience in shell and Python/Perl scripting.
  • Self-motivated and independent, curious to learn and eager to work with others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
