About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced European Financial Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve business objectives
  • Manage and oversee the financial operations of European entities, including financial reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with the Group Finance Director to drive financial performance and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant experience in financial management and leadership
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and improving processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
