Job Title: Senior Drainage Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Consultant to join our team at Kinect Recruitment. As a key member of our environmental consultancy, you will be responsible for driving drainage design projects and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review comprehensive drainage strategies, calculations, and technical drawings
* Oversee the technical output of the team, review reports, and provide training and support to junior consultants
* Play an active role in developing new client relationships and achieving revenue targets for drainage services
* Manage client accounts, attend meetings, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
* Prepare proposals, manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget

Requirements:

* Degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, environmental science, or sustainable drainage
* Minimum of five years in drainage design, ideally in a consultancy role or with a local authority
* Proficient in CAD software and surface water modeling tools
* In-depth knowledge of sustainable drainage principles and foul drainage systems
* Strong understanding of drainage requirements for property development
* Proven project management skills and a track record of technical report writing
