Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Drainage Engineer

Our client, a leading hydrological consultancy, is seeking a talented Graduate Drainage Engineer to join their Flood Risk and Drainage Team in Shrewsbury.

This role offers a unique chance to work on drainage design projects for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, collaborating with a friendly team of engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting flood risk assessments for zones 1, 2, and 3.
  2. Creating flood risk maps using ArcGIS.
  3. Developing drainage strategies for planning applications.
  4. Designing drainage systems using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, with experience using AutoCAD for designs throughout university. Experience working for a consultancy or local authority is beneficial.
