We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination. Your task will be to produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.
The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video. You will be sensitive, compassionate and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.
About You- You must be an NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
- You should have experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations, including surgical, medical, A & E, community and practice nursing.
- You must be NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
- You should have IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
- You must be self-aware and focused on professional development.
- You should be motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
