Clinical Psychologist for Paediatric Gastroenterology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to children and young people with gastroenterological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children and young people with gastroenterological conditions.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based interventions and support families in managing their child's condition.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative treatment pathways and group programs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the advancement of clinical psychology practice in the field of gastroenterology.

Person Specification- Good honours degree in Psychology.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS/HCPC.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council as Practitioner Psychologist.
- Post-doctoral training and recorded CPD experience in additional specialised areas of psychological practice relevant to medical psychology.
- Experience of representing psychology within the context of multi-disciplinary care.
- Experience of working in a multicultural framework and with diverse patient populations.
