Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our dispensary.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and demonstrate the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. With good computer skills and attention to detail, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, participating in medicines management services, and supporting the day-to-day running of the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities- Dispensing inpatient, outpatient, clinical trial, and controlled drug prescriptions according to standard operating procedures.
- Using the Pharmacy computer system to produce dispensing labels and to make stock issues, receipt, and transfers.
- Participating in the medicines management service including patients own drug schemes, assessing the availability and suitability of medicines, drug histories.
- Accuracy checking prescriptions in a technician-led dispensary.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the dispensary workflow, troubleshooting queries, and signposting accordingly.
