As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hub, managing a team of logistics professionals, and driving efficiency and productivity across the network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and control the local and national distribution process to maintain and improve accuracy of sort.
  • Build and develop relationships between the hub, service centers, and depots to drive efficiency and good practice throughout the network.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with all security standards required surrounding customer contracts.
  • Deliver hub SLAs and undertake regular review of volume forecasts and amend resource planning as appropriate.
  • Implement and maintain best operational practices through management of SOPs.
  • Maintain the site BCP and ensure on-time connectivity of all trunks through prioritization and organization of people.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of operational procedures and the DX operating systems.
  • Practiced in compliance with Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resource procedures.
  • Low-level budgetary experience.
  • PC literate and practiced in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Previous experience in the Mail, Parcels, or Distribution Industry in a Hub environment is essential.
