We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Care Professional to join our team at GLG Vets in Caterham, Surrey. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Job OverviewYou will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Your role will involve providing comprehensive care, including routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will also conduct surgical procedures as needed and collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
- Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- CPD Allowance.
- VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid.
- A competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum.
